Alright, was helping Evan move today (along with Tom and Liz). The day started off oddly with my walmart interview as I mentioned before. It was boring, and un-eventful -- unlike the 7-11 experience described earlier.

Picked up Liz to head to Niverville -- we loaded it all up and between three vehicals, we required a single solitary trip. That was a relief of sorts, as it saved us at least 2 hours that
way...

My father rang my line as I was heading out to Niverville since he was there and a bit bored. He offerred to help, if we could use any help...

Got MTS DSL installed and running today, so the blog should be A) significantly faster than it has been over the last three days and B) up 100% of the time. Still using the address tblog.ath.cx

Chapter 2: The Continued Epic Quest for Employment.

In this chapter, out hero visits 7-11's Winnipeg offices for 'training'.

At one 7-11/Esso store in South St. Vital, there exists some offices for 7-11 and their corperate 'synergy' machine. This is where our humble hero of unemployment found himself as the sun peaked above yonder diseased elm trees this fine morn.

Being unemplyed is harsh - not because you have nothing to do, no, no no. That is just fine with me - I tend to get a lot more done when I have nothing to do - hence getting the blog up and running again. No, the real problem is the lack of positive cash-flow, and it seems the only remedy is to get a job.

That said, I may (with some luck) still have one more cheque coming from the now defunct ByteBenders. If that's the case, I shant starve for at least two more weeks, and at that point I'll be moving into dorm and will have a cafeteria at my disposal. Best case scenario.

Hey, doing some thing about the new blog code -- I have a nice Master-Administrator system set up for that one already, but that only affect me! Working now on the regular blog-administrator stuff and was going to integrate it right into the actual page. This mean, session management! erg. Never done that before, but here's how I'm looking at it... Pardon the psuedo-code, it'll be converted into python later -- feel free to take it, use it, burn it, hex it, exorcise it then turn it into something you also can use.

I realise now that the colour green is my favourite colour. Tonight I will be heading to walmart to buy some shorts -- and hope to find green ones. Not a bright green, but a subtle dark green that one sees on the Evergreens or Oaks. I have worn black for most of my life, since I seem to like dark colours, but have wisened up a bit. Green is for me now - I have one green shirt and some green shorts to start, and green boxers galore, but no one ever sees them except for on my floor.

As many of you may well know already, I want to build myself a bunker. Not because I'm a post-apocolypic hoolagin, but for the sake of research into closed biospheres.

This bunker would have to be entirely sealed from the outside, likely with air-locks or hybrid air/water locks. It would have to fully recycle its air, water and organics to sustain life for a prolonged period (like 5 years would be a good initial target -- 100 years would be better...). It would also require a clean sustainable energy source.

Hey: just tossing some ideas about regarding the construction of an enclosed biosphere.
