Since today is my only non-family-gathering day of the holidays, I figured today was my day to make something tasty for myself that I would normally not put that much effort into. It's not that I can't cook, it's usually that I'm too busy and/or lazy.
Behold! Chicken a la Troy!
Well, okay, I didn't get this recipe from krecipies, I sort of just invented it as I went. The chicken I baked in the oven from frozen with a little butter and some spices, wrapped in tin foil. From frozen, it takes me about 45 minutes at 200C. As you can see from the photo, you should cut into the chicken to make sure it's done.
The mushrooms are sauteed in canola oil, with a little olive oil added for colour and flavour, plus some spices.
I've eaten all the mushrooms and most of the chicken already, so my plate will never look as nice as that photo again. Alas! for the good food endured only for as long as you can not eat it.
I see dfaure and a few others on irc today fixing little bugs and such. BIC/SIC changes happening today, so you might need to do a full rebuild after your next svn update.
