On Monday I pitched in my first game of the year -- until now I had been playing in the outfield (which is lots of fun if there are hits there that I can catch...). I'm still feeling the stiffness in my arm today, so I was definately out of shape/practice. That said, I only walked two batters -- well, rather... the same batter twice. She was cute *grins*.
I struck her out her last at bat, so don't critisize me too harshly... heh
Anyway, in a clever play off the word 'hits', this site just cleared 1000 recently. Now I know this is nothing relative to Evan's astounding total which is ten-fold better, but it's good for my own little ego.
However, in totality, the blog software has seen many more page-views than it records, since it only records hits to the front-page of the blog. It doesn't (yet) log things like image downloads, or viewing literal links to specific posts. I'll call those 'misses' :)
Anyway, I can't get my workstation at work to work. This seriously sets back the amount of work that I can do here. A pity too, since I was making good progress.
