Trombone, Harry Potter

Well yesterday I was bored, and since Liz isn't speaking to me for unspecified reasons and will withdraw from any venue when I am there also, I couldn't join Evan and her in whatever sillyness they were up to last night. Also, couldn't get ahold of Mike or Brennyn or anyone else, so I decided to call my sister and see if she was bored.

Sure enough. She recently smashed her car to tiny little bits, so I had to go pick her up and we went to Perkin's on Fermor Ave. Shot the breeze and ended up at the cheap seats1 and the only thing really playing that either of us was remotely interested in seeing and neither of us had already seen was Harry Potter 2.

I give the movie a C- on the Troy Scale(tm). The movie probably would have gotten a B- had it not been for the ending which just ruined the whole thing.

Anyway, as a side effect, my sister returned my old trombone last night. Much to my delight. I now have a much better and more original way to get myself evicted from my apartment. Playing the trombone really, really loudly. Now if I can only remember my old jazz techniques that netted me my 100% grade in jazz.

Be Safe

1 The cheap seats in Winnipeg, a great tradition for those that less than exude money. A mediocre theatre with 8 screens playing not quite new movies which in some cases are already availible for rental. For this service, they charge a measily $2.50 (Cdn) -- which works out to around $1.70 (US).
